Dunhill Financial recruited industry veteran, Matthew Watson from Raymond James to head up their first US branch. The office will be located in St. Augustine, Florida on the East Coast of the Sunshine State. Matthew Watson comes to Dunhill Financial after spending the last five years at Raymond James. He has also worked at prestigious firms such as UBS, Suntrust and A.G. Edwards (where both he and Brian Dunhill worked together).
Matthew will be the manager of the Florida office and will start the new Dunhill Financial insurance division. Matthew will also operate as a financial advisor to expats that have moved from other countries to the United States and also American Expats that have moved back to the United States from their assignments outside the United States. This has been a growing segment of clients at our firm and opening a US office will allow us to better serve these clients. Having a highly experienced individual that we can trust and that will be able to hit the ground running will give us the opportunity to continue to expand our services.
Matthew is a Florida native and received his degree in Finance from East Carolina University. He has his series 7, 66, insurance licenses and is a designated wealth management specialist. He lives in St. Augustine with his wife, Heather, and two children.
Dunhill Financial is an international firm offering fee-based planning and wealth management solutions to primarily (but not exclusively) English-speaking expatriates. We have a wide breadth of experience working in large multi-national firms and enjoy working with individual clients.
The aim is to create an environment of trust, discretion and confidence by offering personalized solutions. Through aggregated planning and collaborating (where appropriate with your accountant and attorney) we will be in a position to help with every aspect of your financial planning.
Through different vehicles, we can help you in all of your retirement, estate planning and education needs. We will select a diverse group of carefully chosen, and vigorously monitored investment managers to look after your assets rather than promoting packages of their own.
